I wish I brought my camera

Today, after Every Woman's Grace at church, I went to Mind Set For Missions. It's an elective where a guest missionary will speak about their experiences overseas. I love to go because it's so good to for me to see and hear what the lives are like for these missionaries. Their life is not easy and they are so strong to serve God in a foreign country.

Today's guest speaker was Matt and Rachel Floreen. As some of you might know, they were planning on heading out to Malawi last month but are still here due to lack of funds. They had only reached 75% of their funds and were waiting patiently for God to provide the rest. A few months ago they were guests at Mind Set For Missions but today we we were giving them a good-bye party. The room started to fill up in the back with some pastors who normally don't come so something was definitely in the works. When they called the Floreens up to the front the leader of the program began telling us how they were still waiting to go. Then, with the Floreens never knowing, the leader told them that God had finally provided 100% of the funds! The couple stood in shock just before Rachel broke down in tears. It was such a happy moment that I wish I had my camera!!

The Floreens had all their stuff over in Malawi waiting for them to arrive. They were currently living out of suitcases. They also were given a check of $900 to buy appliances once they get there. It made my heart so happy to see the joy on their faces. God is so good to answer their prayers, which I had been praying for as well.
