Some Thoughts

I truly believe that God knows what will really grow us as a Christian. Even though He can bring things into our life that can make our life very difficult, in the end we can see the good outcome of it.

I sometimes wonder what my life would be like if I had married a Christian. Yes, my life would be easier in the way that my husband and I would share the same passion, which in turn would effect everything we do. But how would my heart be as a Christian? Would I even be a strong Christian who wants nothing but to live a life in every way Christ would? I would have to say that I wouldn't know God as well as I know Him where I am today.

My life is far from easy. It cannot ever be easy when you live with someone who does not have the same interest or way of life as you. Living with a non believer can set you up for nothing but disappointment. I have clearly seen that if God does not live inside of you then you truly live an unfulfilled life. But no matter what my husband does I see God growing me closer to Him. I can say that I truly know what it means to show love no matter what. It is so true that humans can let you down but God will never disappoint. When someone does not always show love do we do the same? It is our nature to do so. But God has really taught me as well as given me the strength to choose to show love even when I don't feel like it. It is us as Christians who have the ability to show who Christ really is and therefore we should always do so when we have the opportunity.

Jesus is more than my friend. He is my father, my companion, and one that I know will always hear my prayer. I have seen God answer more prayers of mine than I probably would have if I had married a Christian. I would probably be pretty content in my life, feeling that I will call on God whenever I have the chance. It is rare that a day goes by that I don't pour out my heart to Him. I always know that He will come through for me. I can really say I now know it is not about me being happy in this life, it's about Christ being revealed.

Yes, They Love Each Other

This morning the girls were feeling under the weather from getting their shots yesterday but that didn't stop the love!

My Poll

According to my poll, the answers came out pretty even. So I would like those who voted to share what they had voted on. For me, when I only had Heidi I didn't really feel the need to put her on a daily schedule. But now that I have two kids it's a whole other ballgame. I can't function without a schedule. I am so thankful that they take their nap together to give mommy a break to stay sane!

Thinking Back

Five thing I love about pregnancy:

1) Your cute belly slowly grows in front of you
2) The kicking of your baby
3) An excuse to eat
4) Strangers are nicer to you
5) You get to wear cute tops

Five things I hate about pregnancy:

1) Your ankles are so swollen that you can barely make it to the front door
2) Your belly get so big that sleeping is almost impossible
3) Consistent bathroom breaks
4) It takes all your energy to get up from the floor
5) When the baby turns head down you feel as though you're carrying a bowling ball in between your legs

But as you see it's all worth it in the end. If anyone has something to ad to the lists please do! This is not my current condition-HECK NAW!!

Trudi joining Heidi with the fun (Take my poll!)

What An Hour

Tonight I didn't find anything entertaining on tv to watch. That was until I came across TBN. The show for the hour was called Praise-A-Thon. The show began with a very emotional, "My Redeemer Lives," which I love, just not singing the chorus over and over. When it ended they wanted me to stop doing the dishes or ironing and just raise my hands and say, "My Redeemer Lives!!" Then preachers came on. Here are some things I "learned" from them tonight as the piano played in the background:

-Tonight Satan will have his way no more
-Satan continually bothers us while God surprises us
-The Holy Spirit told him that when he preaches tonight that viewers watching will IMMEDIATELY be touched
-Call and Give $25 and God will multiply that 12 times back to you
-The demons need to sit down because Christians are in the house
-How can God further His kingdom without you giving money?
-"Demons who are in China, let my people go!"
-"There's an aids pandemic in Africa. By the power of God I command it over!"
-If you want to put Satan on the run, then you need to sow your money

I couldn't believe how much emotion and lies they put into that hour to get money out of me. Why the heck do so many preachers make you think that God wants Christians to be wealthy? Isn't a way to further His kingdom is by some of us being dirt poor so that it gives others the opportunity to share the wealth God has blessed them with?

Another mommy moment

Who wants their poopy diaper to be changed first?
