The central heat is finally working again and being warm has never felt so good. But from having to sleep in this freezing place for the past nights Gus and I are now sick. We never get sick, it's pretty rare, but I knew it was coming with how my body felt like it was going to shut down or something as I slept with a hooded sweater. I hate hate being sick. I just hope that the kids don't get it because that's when it gets bad. So please add that to your prayer list.

Out of All Times.....

The central heat in our place broke down. It began to break about a week ago with it not coming on to keep the place warm. It has been raining so much here that it naturally is very cold. I called the landlord last week only to find out later that the mechanic can't get up on the roof to fix it until the rain stops. So we had to endure a cold weekend. The mechanic finally made it out today and told me that a piece needs to be replaced or a whole unit needs to be put in because of its old age. The landlord is currently deciding what she wants to do. I am so sick of being so cold. These wood floors do not help. I am praying that my children stay well.

Heidi is not the only one feeling the love of having another sibling. Whenever Trudi gets a good glance at Heidi her whole face lights up.
