Growing Trudi

In the past month Trudi's communication skills have soared as well as her knowledge of things that I tell her to do. I definitely see her being more advanced than Heidi was at her age, simply because she has Heidi to help her along. Here are some things that Trudi can do/understand:

-She signs "more" in sign language when she wants something to be repeated or, obviously, if she wants more of something

-She can sign "thank you"

-She can sign "milk"

-When I tell her to clean up she immediately picks up the mess she's made

-When I tell her to go get her shoes she quickly brings them to me

-She understands when I say to she and Heidi, "Let's go outside." She always heads to the door

-When she is walking ahead of me outside she will turn around at my command. (That one wasn't easy to teach her)

-Her newest achievement is putting things in the trash at my command

It makes me proud to see that she's learning things because I sometimes feel that I'm "neglecting" those lesson from being overwhelmed at times with two small kids .

Ahh, she's so sweet. I knew she would be. I love her. I sure wish I could have seen them today. :(

Trudi is so precious. I love that she just smiles and smiles. Just like Dora...

"You know what you gotta do when life gets you down?
Just keep swimming
Just keep swimming
Just keep swimming swimming swimming
What do we do we swim, swim, swim
OH HO HO How I love to swim
When you WAAAAAANNTTT to swim you want to swim"

Just replace SWIM with SMILE! :-)
