Disneyland

Yesterday I was given the opportunity by my friend to take the four of us as well as my twin sister, Rebecca, to Disneyland. My friend, Jonny, works there so he was able to get us in. We met him in the morning as he first took us into California Adventure. I had never been there before so everything was quite a surprise. That's when Heidi saw Mickey Mouse for the first time. She is a HUGE fan of him so when we approached him she was in utter shock. She couldn't even speak. The mouse was actually a real thing!

The park was pretty empty, which allowed us to ride a few rides. Next we headed over to Disneyland and saw just how long those rides were. Well, Jonny, being so clever as he is, decided he wasn't going to make us wait. He headed over to the "City Hall" to get his free pass for having a disability. What was his disability? Now, get ready to laugh: He said, "Hi, um..when I stand in those long lines I get really anxious. My anxiety gets so bad that it makes me want to leave the park." There wasn't anymore questions for him to be given a pass, which included the number of people he was with.

Afterwards we took the kids on peter pan. Heidi came out crying. I think she thought she was really flying. We took the kids on more rides before we headed to Space Mountain. Jonny stayed with the kids as Rebecca, Gus, and I went to ride it. I hadn't been on it in years. My sister convinced me to ride in the very front. I am not a fan of roller coasters so when the overhead voice did a countdown to take off I really regretted getting on. Once it took off I thought I was literally going to die. I don't recommend riding in the front if you don't like fast rides. I would say that was the only bad experience of the day. We had to ride the river boat to let me recuperate.

The day ended with us going to Mickey's house. The kids were so shocked to see all the furniture their size. When we finally got to meet mickey at the end Heidi couldn't stop smiling. She was soo excited.

I can't wait to go back with just my hubby on Valentine's Day.

I'm glad you got to go again! By the way, the front is better than the back on roller coasters. You get whipped around really bad when you ride in the back. The picture of the four of you with Mickey is really cute :).

It sure pays to know someone who works at Disneyland so you can get in for free. I can't believe he got away with that "anxiety" excuse! Anyone could walk in there and claim they get anxious. Those workers are a bunch of suckers.
You should really frame the picture of the four of you with Mickey. It's a great family picture.

Hahaha Alfred claims he's disabled all the time for stuff like that. We even get discount tickets INTO the park being Deaf. Hehe. Very bad. As for space mountain... Yea, I could have told you a big NO no that one. I cant ride it, period. I literally get off and am shaking so badly I cant walk (I wish I was making this up). I've always been so terrified of such rides. Total bummer. Glad you all had fun. And wow, Johnny will let you in for FREE again on V-day?? Not fair!!
