My sister Rebecca is someone who knows me most. She even knows me more that my husband knows me. Having a twin sister is something that's so special. You grow up never feeling lonely. You always have a playmate, someone who will listen to you, and be in your life to show you what a selfish sinner you are. I couldn't imagine what it would be like not to have someone my age grow up right next to me.
Rebecca and I have done everything together. It's very rare to find photos of events we went to years ago without both of us appearing in the photo. Many times sisters grow apart as they get older because of the different paths their lives take. But I now have more in common with her than I did before. We have both experienced God's forgiveness of being disobedient and are now joined in a marriage to an unbelieving husband. We are able to encourage each other more than ever as God grows us as Christians through these hard times.
Rebecca is someone who cares about you with a heart of gold. If she has only $5 on her then she would easily spend it on you before herself. If you need a helping hand then she is right there.
Last week I fell ill with the flu. Since my husband wasn't home I desperately needed help with the kids. I gave her a call and she came by as soon as she could get away from her home. She never complains when her ask her for a favor. If she can't do it then she always kindly explains why. She has such a peace about her, a peace that I lack. Her love for my children keeps me humble as a mother.
I am so thankful to have her as not only my sister but my twin as well.

You are right. Rebecca is very special and would indeed give you the last dollar she had. Smile.
