Lisa

Today at Every Woman's Grace there was an elective that you could attend if you wanted to after the seminar was over. I decided to go and I was really happy I did. There was a missionary couple, Tom and Lisa Shuck, from India sharing their story. I was so encouraged when Lisa took her turn to speak. Being a woman myself I could naturally related to her emotions. She missed her friends back in India so much. Since the country is pretty much against Christianity she only has a group of Christian friends. Her friends were tying to be godly women to their seminary husbands even though their parents rejected them for not being Muslim or Hindu. These group of woman shared a really close bond. They would always cook together and be an encouragement.

Lisa's story also touched me when she began to share how she is having to trust God in not giving her children. She began crying as she explained that she's been married for nine years without having children and the adoption process is not any easier. I will definitely keep her in prayer. If you would like to visit her blog I have it listed under Satsung.

Oh I loveee Lisa and Tom. I've known them since they first got married and have always kept in touch. They are wonderful God fearing people. I will pray for them, esp about her situation with not having children. Thanks Megan for sharing!
