Something New

I don't have my own car but I am praying that God will give me one some day. Right now it's my duty to be content with what I DO have. I have to say, from people being so generous in giving me a ride to church events I have made so many new wonderful friends.

For the past two years my husband has been driving a 2006 Toyota Carolla. I have consistently loved the car. Even when he would express his desire for something new I would always made sure he knew how this car is good enough for me. I've always enjoyed it.

Well, today God decided to show his love to a non believer. This morning I only took Trudi with me to church. Heidi was sick so she stayed behind with her dad. Before church had begun I spoke with Gus on the phone. He told me that he took Heidi with him to Valencia and is checking out a SUV. From what I know, a man he knows was offering him a SUV for almost the same price as his Carolla. Gus told me they were not sure about the deal but to pray for him to get it. As a "godly" wife I assured him that I would definitely do so. Gus has seen so many prayers get answered so he knows it really works.

After a friend took Trudi and I home from church I waited for Gus to return as well. When I came out to get Heidi off of his hands here's what he pulled up in:



So far, I've only glanced inside of this very proud husband's new ride. It's a 2006 Dodge Durango. The best part? It has a third row! Now we not only have more room but also more room for people to ride along with us. Even though I'm beyond thankful for the new car, I'm more thankful for God showing so much love toward my husband.
