Pretty much the only thing I've cared to watch of the Olympics other than swimming is gymnastics. What is my take on it so far? One word: Robbed!!!!!!!!
Whoever voted to have the games in China was smoking something. It's communist people! Are the games of 2016 going to be held in North Korea? I wouldn't be surprised. Not only are the Chinese handing over under aged gymnast, but the I.O.C. won't even be able to investigate it thoroughly because, once again, it's communist! They've been handing out gold medals left and right to the Chinese at these games. In my opinion, these judges feel threatened by the government. This has been the worst games ever!!!!! Even though the US didn't win too much in Athens, it was still an awesome Olympics. One of the best ones in fact. Heck, I think that if the Magnificent Seven of '96 trained again, even though they are much older, they could still beat out everyone. No one compares to them.

Did you know NBC had to sign a contract with the Chinese government saying they'd give equal time to both the US and Chinese athletes? Yep, thus they showed that poor runner for 30 min last night, and gave the US Discus (sp?) player only 5 min despite the fact that she won the first gold for the US in over 70 something years!!
The Chinese government also screens out all of the footage being shown on NBC. Indeed, the athletes are, in my opinion... being robbed. And of more than just medals.
