Growing up I always watched Little House on The Prairie. Even to this day I think the show is pretty good especially when I compare it to shows of today's era. Just about every episode has Michael Landon crying in it. Sometimes I would laugh at him and sometimes I would cry with him.
But there is one episode that should have been aired after 10:00 pm for adults only. Not only had this episode must have been directed by someone other that Michael Landon because of the horror, but it's flat out unbelievable. Most of you might remember the episode where Mary is blind and is living in the blind school with her husband and baby. There's a scene where Mary is leaning over the cradle, talking to her baby. Suddenly her husband, Adam, runs in to tell her there's a fire in the house. What does Mary, who happens to be a new mother and SO IN LOVE with her baby boy do at that moment? Yes folkes, she forgets him and leaves the room with Adam. By the time she remembers her baby, one of the women there who can see offers to go up to the room to get him. By the time the woman has the baby in her arms she is trapped inside the room as Mary and Adam are waiting outside for their son. Eventually the house burns down with the two and Mary is left screaming for her son. Can I hear WHAT THE HECK??
Let me tell you...when this earthquake struck a few days ago the first thing I thought of were my kids. THAT WAS IT. But for a director to have a mother forget her baby in a FIRE is beyond me!

Aren't those shows based on the real life of Laura and her family? Maybe Mary really did forget her son. That's horrible, but panicky moments can do strange things to people. I hope I never forget any of my kids!!!
HAHAHA....No, I don't think Mary ever got married in real life. Plus, a mother's instinct would never ever let you forget your kid.
Oh you forgot the BEST part. When the lady who can see finally remembers the baby and tries to leave the room she's stuck alright, but what you forgot to mention was the part of her literally flailing herself against the window, breaking the glass.. and SCREAMING "help me!! help me!!" while everyone outside on the grass can see or hear whats going on! She DIES like that! It was soo tramatic!
Your right Megan, NO ONE.. and I mean NO ONE forgets their babies. It was written by a MAN. LOL :-)
