Good Job Heidi!!

As many of you might remember in my previous posts, Heidi used to sometimes have an accident when I would take off her diaper to take a bath and let her run diaper free to air out. Well, today I took off her diaper and took her to the bathroom to take a bath. Before I turned on the bathtub faucet she began to start whining and gesturing that she's going to take a bowel movement. I knew right then it was my chance to get her on the potty because she can't control herself from going. She's terrified of the training seat so I stuck her on the toilet. She was so scared to sit on there that I held her in my arms as she sat there and told her everything is alright. Before I knew it my little Heidi finally went in the toilet! Now, for any mom who has a toddler, you know that something like that is a HUGE milestone.

Heidi got scared when she looked in the toilet and saw what she did but I gave her two cookies and Gus and I congratulated her. It was then that she realized that what she did was good. I think her favorite part was when we flushed the toilet and said bye bye to her doings. Gus was also proud of me encouraging her to go. Good job Heidi!!
