I would rather take care of sick kids than to be sick myself. That way they are not begging to go outside when all you want to do is to lay down. Thankfully with all of us being sick I was able to sleep more than I expected. But I never want to live those days again. I was literally crying out for God's help because I couldn't take care of my body and at the same time tend to a fussy toddler as well as a non-stop crying baby. The times when I just wanted to lay down to make my nose stop running I was interrupted by Heidi pointing to Trudi and saying, "Mommy! Nose!" So I had to get up and chase Trudi around the room (she knew why I was coming toward her) and wipe the green snot. Sleeping at night became a joke due to the kids waking up in rounds with their coughs.
Thankfully Heidi was put on antibiotics and I was prescribed amoxicillin for my sinus infection. Trudi just began to get significantly better yesterday so we are all on track to good health. I just haven't been to church for two weeks so I'm looking forward to being able to return.
Thank God that He got me through one of the toughest weeks of my life! I don't know what I would have done without a God who is there for me. I put a picture of Trudi passed out on the couch. I believe she had a fever at this time so I made the couch comfortable for her. The room was actually dark so the light is the flash on the camera, not the sunlight.

Ugh you poor thing! I'm so sorry you've been so sick and with the girls being sick too...awful! I'm looking forward to seeing you happy and healthy soon. PTL Gods strength can truly get us through those miserable times in our lives.
I'm glad you're all on the mend. It's no fun being sick!
