Last Friday evening my sister Julie picked up the three of us and took me on some errands. When we came home I took Trudi into the home as Heidi stayed behind with Julie to unload the trunk with my stuff. Since she was parked in the street Heidi had to make her way back up on the sidewalk to come meet up with me. Well, she decided to try it on her own and didn't make it. Instead, she feel straight down on her stomach in the watery gutter. She was covered in mud from head to toe and wreaked really bad. Julie took her into the house and we worked as a team to get her clean. It was really nasty! Poor Heidi! She screamed and cried for a long time.
Today Julie came by again to take the kids to the pediatrician. I was finally able to make my way over there to get Trudi's one year old vaccines. I also decided to have both of them get a flu shot. As we were waiting in the examination room the kids decided to explore, which happened to not be much in the room. Heidi opened a cabinet and thought it was so amazing that there was a box in there. Julie turned to her and said:
Julie (Signing box in sign language): Heidi, can you say box?
Heidi: Cup!
Julie: No, box
Heidi: Cup!!
Julie (Laughing) : Ok Heidi
Don't worry Heidi, mommy is proud of all the words you can definitely say.

Ha!!! That was seriously so funny. She was SURE it was a CUP in there and not the box I was seeing. Not only was she right (in her mind) she also was like (yea whatever) with my sign language. LOL
That was a very fun trip.
