We are called to "endure all things" and to be "longsuffering." Well, I've had to do both a lot lately. :) Heidi's new and only interest is in the movie Pocahontas. She wants to watch it at least three times a day. Now, it doesn't mean I allow her, but she pulls the movie out all the time and says, "wash," for "watch." When Pocahontas first appears in the movie she will do everything she can to get my attention so that I can say, "WOW! IT'S POCAHONTAS!!!!!!!!!" I have to say that every time. It's sooo funny!
But seriously, I'm having to endure a lot with her always asking me to put it on. The reason I'm patient is that I remember back when I was five years old that all, and I mean ALL I wanted to do was to watch The Little Mermaid. I was so fascinated by the movie. My fifth birthday party was covered in Mermaid. So Heidi doesn't care about Barney anymore. Only Trudi gets a kick out of the dinosaur. Now we've moved on to Pocahontas.

Haha that is SO true!! Even when she was DEATHLY ill last Saturday, she while in my arms kept pointing to the bedroom. I'm thinking "what could be in there?" Well well, what do you know. Its THE movie!! Hahaha Yep she wanted me to know, she wanted to watch it. Cracks me up! So long "I love you, you love me, we're a happy family." Nope, now its "I can sing with all the colors of the wind." HAAAAAAAA oh and yea, the mermaid thing? I STILL have ALL the songs and most of the movie memorized from your days! :-)
LOL! I would give anything to watch those cartoons again. Because I have boys, I get stuck watching Transformers Over... and over... and OVER again! But you are ever so right, which keeps me sane... to have that much joy in a simple cartoon is priceless... how I long for those days again.
They grow so fast. LOL
Its so true once they fall in love with something they will never get sick of it! Miss you guys
