Things Change As You Grow Up
I remember back when I was a teenager in junior high and high school how having friends older than you was rare. It really wasn't tempting for a freshman to become buddies with a senior. Having a best friend at school who was older than you was very very rare. When you become an adult it all changes, especially when you are a wife and mother. Today I have friends who are of all ages. We are very close and never let our age get in between our relationship. Their age ranges from the forties, thirties, and twenties. As an adult you see that there are so many things you can share in common with someone. There is so much to learn from each other. Being a wife and/or mother can be very difficult and it's very helpful to have friends who can relate to you, no matter what their age is.
