Growing

My baby is now a year old. Looking back it seems just like yesterday when I gave birth to her. But when I really think about it I remember how long this year was for me. It was so so difficult to take care of a toddler and a baby. But it was so worth it. Trudi is such a joy in my life. At first I couldn't imagine having to share my love with someone other than Heidi. Now I can't imagine her not being here to love.

It is so much fun to see my girls play together, fight over toys, fight over snacks (Yes, I do intervene), and to watch how fast Trudi is growing. She is walking so much now that she barely crawls anymore. She loves milk more than anything, just like her sister, and gets super excited when a dog comes around. Screaming in disappointment is something she has recently picked up on but I know within time with me working on it she will learn not to do it.

Last Friday was my birthday so I celebrated it with her. It was really fun. Then last night (her actual birthday) the four of us had a BBQ at Gus' friends' house.
