For the past couple of weeks I have been blessed with having my twin sister, Rebecca, come over about three days a week to help me out with the kids. She has been on workers comp for tendinitis in her wrists and has been taking the time to come give me a hand, of course with things that wouldn't aggravate her wrists. Since I don't have a car of my own she has also been able to run some errands for me and take me to visit our other family members. God is sooo good to send me help, considering it's just plain hard with two small kids. :)
We are still looking to move, hopefully to the west end of the valley. Gus' family as well as mine live over there so that way it would be easy to get a babysitter once in a while.
I nursed Heidi for a year so naturally I plan the same thing with Trudi. Even though babies shouldn't drink whole milk until they are a year old I have allowed Trudi to "steal" Heidi's sippy cup and drink from it. This girl loves milk just like her big sister. Thankfully there will be no problem getting her to drink from a cup and not a bottle. I think she's only drank from a bottle about three times in her life. That's way less than Heidi.
Well, my "river of life" doesn't seem to want to come in as much anymore. I think my body is finishing up and it better be permanently! So I'll have to see if weening is just around the corner.
My sister Julie drove down to my place this evening to take Heidi, Trudi, and I out to eat. Heidi picks up so much sign language that Julie teaches her. They're buddies for life!
My new neighbors next door are Christians. They have been so encouraging to me. I am also glad that Gus really likes them and listens to their testimony. We had a BBQ with them the other night. Gus cooked carne asada and they made hamburgers and hot dogs. I ate so much yet I never felt full. It must have been from Trudi taking some of it out of me.

Heck ya she's my buddy! That girl is smart, just like me..hehe... and we have so much fun walking the neighborhood signing everything. I have a feeling she'll be right in line for a career as an interpreter just as I am. WoooHooo! Good times. :-)
