My Weird Day

Let me tell you about my crazy day. I have my girls on a daily schedule but today it was all out of wack. The girls usually get up at 7:30 in the morning to be with their dad as he gets ready for work. But Gus had a job interview this morning and was nice enough to let me sleep in, which Jesus Himself knew that I NEEDED IT!! When I woke up it was 9:30! WOOHOO! A whopping two extra hours of sleep! Now, to any person who has a baby, i.e. Jennie, Victoria, ya'll know that two hours is like two days! That also meant that Trudi and Heidi didn't wake up early to eat breakfast. I was sooo happy.

Since we share a room I had to creep out. They still didn't wake up. That meant I had the house to myself! So I made some oatmeal for myself and had a little left over. I was glad that I made it because Gus came home from the interview very hungry and he loves oatmeal. Right before he got home the girls woke up. Gus quickly changed his clothes, ate some oatmeal, and headed off to his current job, which is going bankrupt.

Trudi has a fever and her morning did not go well. At 11:30 I put her back down because she was tired again, which gave me a chance to shower as Heidi watched Barney.

After spending time with the girls and having issues with Trudi I put them down for their nap at 1:30. An hour later Trudi was up and screaming. Heidi had woken up from her so I took the girls outside to play. When we came back inside the, thankfully, cool house Heidi wanted to finish her nap and Trudi was tired again from the fever. So BACK DOWN they went.

Yep, It's been a crazy day with lots of naps for Trudi. I'm glad that all my housework is done for the week so I've allowed myself to be lazy today. Feels good!
