A Thought

As a mother I always want to make sure I am raising my children in the Lord. Recently I was thinking about Christmas and answering people's questions on what to get Heidi. She ABSOLUTELY LOVES Barney and therefore you could get anything that was Barney for her. But I make sure I put my foot down. I see too many mothers, even Christians, who cater to their child being a fan of something. But why do they do that when it only encourages the child to make it an idol of the heart?
