Last Sunday the whole side of my family got together to celebrate my sister Jennie's Birthday. The whole week I was told that we were going to meet at Wood Ranch in
Northridge. So when my mom parked her car and
Rebecca and I got out with her and began following her to the
restaurant, I nicely asked
Rebecca why my mom had parked so far from Wood Ranch when she knows that I am very pregnant and can't walk that far. She laughed and told me we weren't going there. I was shocked and now wondered where we we

were walking to. She told me that Wood Ranch couldn't
accommodate a party as big as ours and therefore Jennie chose Claim Jumpers. I love Wood Ranch but I couldn't have been more excited that we were going to eat "pioneer" food. The three of us were the first to arrive then the whole clan showed up.
Everyone was in a good mood. My brother's wife and his kids added to the joy that was already there. Jennie's husband Mike shared his funny stories about being a
CHP and my sister Julie kept us laughing with her out of control true

stories. Heidi didn't show up because she doesn't have that much patience in a high chair as her cousin London does. Don't worry, I'm in the process of training Heidi to obey in every way. :)
I've posted some pictures of the birthday. I know Jennie will laugh at the picture of her eating. I think it's really funny how it looks like she's enjoying the food more than socializing! I can't help teasing her because I love her so much. I was really glad to be there for her.
