8/25

A housing opportunity was given to me but after almost a month of prayer and counseling I decided to turn it down, which means I'm still at home. I was contacted by the Mr. Greene, whose wife is battling cancer, to come live on the property (in a detached room) to be the kid's nanny. The idea was well intended and I, as well as many others, liked the idea. But for many reasons, I don't think it would be wise to do so.

My husband currently doesn't have a job, which leaves him home daily with me. We'll see what God has in store with this situation.

On another note, this past Sunday I had the opportunity to spend quality time with my sister Jennie as my mom watched the kids. We went to Target to find maternity clothes for her. It was a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to taking care of her baby when he/ she is born!

7/27

I'm still at home and am currently waiting for God to place me somewhere. Things have been taken into action to get me there so we'll see what's in store. I am thankful for my pastors and counselors who help me every part of the way, even legally. I am truly wanting God's will in each day of my life.

Please understand that I'm not leaving on just my husband's will for my exit. Though it's sad to say that that's where his heart is, there's a much bigger picture here that only people close to me know about and I need to leave it in the hands of God.

Here's a picture to cheer up my blog

The Latest

I've been hesitating for some time whether or not to post my latest happenings. But I'll say only a little because I need so many people to be prayer warriors!

My husband has chosen to harden his heart to the point that he has chosen for my marriage to be discontinued. I now have to look for a life on my own. I have five people from the church who are involved with this situation for spiritual guidance. It's not looking good whatsoever. Honestly, this is devastating to me. I have cried many times over the fact that my husband is sending me away. I want him to be saved so much. I don't want my kids to suffer a divorce. I cannot tell you how much I need prayer and help right now. Please pray for my husband to be broken over his sin. If anything does change in the following weeks then it's definitely an answer to prayer.

The Potty

I've been trying to potty train Heidi for so long now. It was so difficult that there were times I was brought to tears from frustration. This past week I tried it again and she decided she wasn't going to throw a fit when she sat on the potty but instead remained calm and urinated. She now enjoys the potty so much that she willingly goes when I tell her to. I am always amazed when she tells me that she has to go. Now that she is potty trained a huge burden has been lifted. I honestly thought she would be almost four years old when she would get it down. Potty training her has taught me a lot on patience.

Trudi is interested in the potty, even once urinating in it. I'll see if she's really ready.

God Answered!

Today I definitely received an answer to prayer. My sweet friend offered me her double stroller that she doesn't use anymore. No only am I so thankful to have a stroller again to really get around but I'm thankful how much better it is than mine. I used mine so much that it began to look beat up. This new one is clean and doesn't consistently squeak. I am just so thankful for the new blessing!

Gone

If you haven't heard yet, the newest thing in my life is that my double stroller got stolen from the front of my place while my kids napped. I'm really disappointed because I don't have a car and I used that religiously to get me places. I'm trying to see how I can possibly get another one. There's a lot of prayer involved. I'll keep you posted if something comes up.
